WiSE Plus operates 24/7 and is located with the Norwest hospital allowing the emergency department to treat more acute emergencies. It is also set up to receive patients via ambulance. As it is situated within a hospital it can look after severely unwell patients who may not be able to walk in. Compared to WiSE Clinics which are situated outside hospitals within the community. Although the same emergency specialists work at both locations WiSE clinics can not receive ambulances and are not designed to look after trauma or 000 emergencies. Both locations have onsite imaging (including CT, XR, and Ultrasound) and onsite pathology labs allowing for rapid diagnostic’s for all your conditions.
